News from Romania

Adapt Ability has supplied a complete set of Ruward Practice to the newly established socio-professional integration services complex for vulnerable people in Medias, Romania. The project was officially presented on April 6. Visit the website here.

The Phoenix - Speranta association received funding of Euro 1,093,193 from the Velux Foundations (Denmark, known for skylights) with a view to establishing a complex of social facilities for vulnerable adults. The partners in the project are: the City of Medias, the Department for Social Assistance, and Habitat for Humanity. The project will be implemented over a period of 30 months, from April 2016 to September 2018, and its main objective is to create a normal, independent life for young people up to 25 years old who are exposed to rejection due to a lack of education, extreme poverty, Roma ethnic origin, disability, or single-parent families. For the work skills training, we will be using two test kits from Adapt-Ability, Zwolle, Netherlands!

We are therefore proud that Adapt-Ability was approached to equip the training center with a complete set from Ruward Praktijk.

In the week of May 23, 2016, we delivered the complete Ruward Praktijk set and provided instruction. In addition to the Ruward test, Phoenix - Speranta now also has the Ruward Praktijk work samples. The new training center can be set up using these work samples.
