Introduction to labor theory
In this course, you will be introduced to various aspects and tools that are used within the field of occupational science. You will, among other things, become familiar with MTM-1, and the concepts of basic manual skills will be explored in greater depth. Wherever possible, this will be placed in the context of MAST-1 and/or Ruward-1.
Attention will also be given to the concept of workplace optimization and workplace design. Naturally, you will also learn extensively how to analyze a task or assignment. In addition, where applicable, you will be introduced to the MAST-1 or Ruward-1 testing system. This includes addressing the question: “I now have a test result—what do I do with it?”
Furthermore, accelerated analysis will be covered and you will learn how to apply it yourself. The question, “Can the test result play a role in determining a career choice?” will, of course, also be discussed.
course duration
The course duration is two non-consecutive days. On the first day, the focus is on matters surrounding MTM, and on the second day, the MAST-1 or Ruward-1 test is the central focus. The course can be delivered by open enrollment or within a company.
